When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph Markusson made a kick off. When André Erserman fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berghem's protests and gave André Erserman a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Berghem got a freekick which was hit by André Erserman. After a rather tough play, Ålem RK's Inge Örtlund got a free kick in the 90th minute. Karl-Oskar Colin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Törnqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Ålem RK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Berghem were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
