Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Harry Wiklund kicked off to start the match. Karl-Axel Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Wiklund in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Glimåkra IF's goalkeeper Patrik Eckegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustav Forssell. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calle Abrahamsson in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Axel Martinsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Wiklund came free, but Karl-Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Bengt Backlund took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Patrik Eckegren to make any attempt to save it. Frank Vidman kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gustav Forssell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Patrik Eckegren made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Veberöd's Patrik Eckegren threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ralf Wiberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 32 minutes into the game, Robert Böcklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glimåkra IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veberöd the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Glimåkra IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Böcklund to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Orvar Jespersson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Patrik Eckegren, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, Glimåkra IF's Patrik Eckegren got control of the ball when Gustav Forssell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Karl-Axel Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Wiklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Karl-Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Wiklund in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Robert Böcklund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Harry Wiklund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glimåkra IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Wiklund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Axel Martinsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Harry Wiklund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Veberöd getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Orvar Jespersson hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Wiklund came free, but Karl-Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Gustavsson charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Gustavsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Patrik Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Wiberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Frank Vidman could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Karl-Axel Martinsson however easily saved by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Ralf Wiberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Veberöd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Karl-Axel Martinsson was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Robert Böcklund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Robert Böcklund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Bengt Backlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Ralf Wiberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Eckegren was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Bengt Backlund hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Veberöd got a freekick which was hit by Staffan Wickander. Robert Böcklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Karl-Axel Martinsson made a huge save. Karl-Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Vidman in the 81st minute of play. In the 86th minute Harry Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Axel Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Harry Wiklund kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Axel Martinsson. That made the score 3-3 in the 86 minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Wiklund came free, but Karl-Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Eckegren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Backlund went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Veberöd had won after a very even match.
