Karl-Axel Martinsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 6 minutes into the game, Ludwig Sjö recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Axel Martinsson. Ludwig Sjö showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Sjö in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, Tim Örtlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ålem RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Veberöd the free kick. Tim Örtlund hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Gustav Forssell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. William Törnqvist scored 3-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Axel Martinsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Joakim Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Wiberg in the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Veberöd's Ralf Wiberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joakim Olsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After 26 minutes, William Törnqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ålem RK and the Veberöd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th minute, William Törnqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Veberöd's Gustav Forssell in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ålem RK's goalie prevented a goal. Karl-Axel Martinsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but William Törnqvist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 30 minute of play. Karl-Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Sjö, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Veberöd's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Martinsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludwig Sjö. In the 40th play minute Ludwig Sjö came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karl-Axel Martinsson. 5-1. Karl-Axel Martinsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Törnqvist went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ralf Wiberg was the one to do the kick off. It was a well-played corner which Ludwig Sjö managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Veberöd's Karl-Axel Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Örtlund in the 56th minute of play. Karl-Axel Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludwig Sjö in the 64th minute of play. Veberöd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludwig Sjö was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Ålem RK's Joakim Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Ålem RK from getting a goal against them. Karl-Axel Martinsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Törnqvist went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Lindgren in the 90th minute of play forced Veberöd's goalkeeper Karl-Axel Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Veberöd booed when Ålem RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Örtlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Veberöd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
