An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Lindell in the 4th minute of play forced Grabbens Grabbar FC's goalkeeper John Blixt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Pontus Holmberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glimåkra IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grabbens Grabbar FC the free kick. In the 6th minute, Pontus Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Björkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Fogel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Patrik Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joar Lindell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry Wiklund in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. In the 18th minute, Joar Lindell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. John Blixt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Joar Lindell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Blixt having to interfere. Harry Wiklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harry Wiklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Blixt having to make a save. In the 27th minute Harry Wiklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Blixt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Eckegren was a little too slow when Henrik Björkman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-1. Harry Wiklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Blixt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joar Lindell in the 35th minute of play. Glimåkra IF's Harry Wiklund got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrik Eckegren was a little too slow when Karl Askestät got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Björkman to strike the kick off in the second half. Robert Böcklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A beautiful save bye Grabbens Grabbar FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 69 minutes, Ulrik Damm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glimåkra IF and the Grabbens Grabbar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Glimåkra IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Damm to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Askestät in the 71st minute of the match. Joar Lindell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. John Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glimåkra IF's Harry Wiklund was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 75th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. John Blixt was a little too slow when Harry Wiklund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 2-5. John Blixt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Harry Wiklund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 83 minute of play. After 87 minutes, Harry Wiklund made it 2-7 with a short kick to the right side. Grabbens Grabbar FC's John Blixt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 91st minute, Glimåkra IF's Harry Wiklund dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-8. Glimåkra IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
