Valter Stenqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carl Käcker having to interfere. Carl Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilhelm Pilgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Huskvarna United's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Tinglöf came free, but Marc Tönnberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vännäsby RK's Isac Tinglöf got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ernst Helström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Tönnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernst Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ernst Helström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Valter Stenqvist came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Huskvarna United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Stenqvist couldn't finish the play. Wilhelm Pilgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Carl Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viktor Östensson during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Vännäsby RK got a freekick which was hit by Isac Tinglöf. Isac Tinglöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Carl Käcker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilhelm Pilgren went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilhelm Pilgren to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilhelm Pilgren in the 57th minute of play forced Vännäsby RK's goalkeeper Carl Käcker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Stenqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Käcker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Stenqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. When Gunnar Wennerlund fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vännäsby RK's protests and gave Gunnar Wennerlund a yellow card for diving instead. Gunnar Wennerlund hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Many of Vännäsby RK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Vännäsby RK may have spent more time on the ball, but Huskvarna United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
