After a rather tough play, Donja Puharska's Aron Svensson got a free kick in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Donja Puharska's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Fastesson came free, but Alexander Asserlindh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Per Wiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Sleepy Neanderthals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Sleepy Neanderthals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Lindqvist to maneuver through the defense. Allan Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Asserlindh having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Sleepy Neanderthals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. Per Wiman hit a great ball. Viggo Alefors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Svensson in the 38th minute of the match. If Sven-Erik Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute, Sven-Erik Jansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Allan Fastesson made a kick off. After some careless play in the Sleepy Neanderthals defense, Sven-Erik Jansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viggo Alefors. The Sleepy Neanderthals fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viggo Alefors should have stopped the shot. Viggo Alefors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Wiman in the 57th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Lars-Erik Enegren managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 60 minutes into the game, Bengt Smefeldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sleepy Neanderthals's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donja Puharska the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Sleepy Neanderthals:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Donja Puharska:s goal. After 64 played minutes Sleepy Neanderthals got a freekick which was hit by Martin Sander. Sven-Erik Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per Wiman struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Viggo Alefors didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Donja Puharska. With a little luck, Donja Puharska's Alexander Asserlindh got control of the ball when Kåre Kullander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claes Håkansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Alefors having to interfere. Per Wiman scored 3-0 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viggo Alefors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Donja Puharska fully deserved thier win.
