Charles Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Korpadalens if's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Lindkvist came free, but Allan Larsfelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 42 played minutes Karl-Erik Brandt rounded Korpadalens if's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Korpadalens if's Allan Larsfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Erik Brandt in the 62nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sven-Åke Grönlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Allan Larsfelt was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 66 played minutes Korpadalens if got a freekick which was hit by Kasper Sundin. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Lindkvist couldn't finish the play. Husbåtarna's Ingvar Hääger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Husbåtarna from getting a goal against them. Husbåtarna were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Korpadalens if to leave the ground with a draw.
