When Max Nordin fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sleepy Neanderthals's protests and gave Max Nordin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Winterfell FC booed when Sleepy Neanderthals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Nordin didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Max Nordin in the 88th minute of play forced Winterfell FC's goalkeeper Patrik Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Larsfält's late challenge caught a Sleepy Neanderthals's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Larsfält helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by Martin Sander in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Winterfell FC's Freddie Larsfält. 94 minutes into the match, Winterfell FC's goalkeeper Patrik Olofsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kåre Kullander. 96 minutes into the match, Winterfell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Fastesson came free, but Patrik Olofsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Winterfell FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Sleepy Neanderthals to win.
