Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Christoffer Hedlund made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Martin Stenqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mellösa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Christoffer Hedlund was slow to take the kick. During this time King Faisal Babes F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. King Faisal Babes F.C.'s Christoffer Hedlund was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emanuel Skröder in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Göran Gustafsson in the 11th minute of play forced King Faisal Babes F.C.'s goalkeeper Ulf Målare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ulf Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Mellösa's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Stenqvist came free, but Emanuel Skröder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Mellösa defense, Christoffer Hedlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuel Skröder. The Mellösa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Skröder should have stopped the shot. The supporters of King Faisal Babes F.C. booed when Mellösa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Folke Åström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Christoffer Hedlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Skröder was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoffer Hedlund in the 33rd minute of play forced Mellösa's goalkeeper Emanuel Skröder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Skröder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Stenqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee showed Torbjörn Hermansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes King Faisal Babes F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Hermansson. In the 48th minute, Martin Stenqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The King Faisal Babes F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half King Faisal Babes F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Åström made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Christoffer Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. King Faisal Babes F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Hedlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Skröder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christoffer Hedlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Charles Heggert made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Målare. King Faisal Babes F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Brian Salkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ulf Målare tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulf Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Åström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 69 minutes, Charles Holmgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the King Faisal Babes F.C. and the Mellösa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mellösa booed when King Faisal Babes F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Holmgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulf Målare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Folke Åström in the 76th minute of the match. Mellösa's Emanuel Skröder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Hedlund in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd match minute, Mellösa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Ek to maneuver through the defense. Mellösa's Folke Åström got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulf Målare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Heggert in the 90th minute of play. Wictor Bengtsson charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wictor Bengtsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sverker Lundhberg made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Charlie Ekström immediately put the ball in play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched King Faisal Babes F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
