Bengt Smefeldt charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bengt Smefeldt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, one of Sleepy Neanderthals:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sleepy Neanderthals. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Fastesson in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl Bergfelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Walter Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snuddens BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Walter Brodin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viggo Alefors breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 played minutes Sleepy Neanderthals got a freekick which was hit by Leif Biörnberg. Karl Bergfelt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Fastesson in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Snuddens BK booed when Sleepy Neanderthals was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Lindqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walter Brodin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kåre Kullander charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kåre Kullander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Sleepy Neanderthals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kåre Kullander to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walter Brodin to strike the kick off in the second half. Thomas Kuse kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gustaf Jernberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Alefors having to interfere. Walter Brodin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Viggo Alefors made a huge save. When Gustaf Jernberg came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Snuddens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Jernberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sleepy Neanderthals's zone, Gustaf Jernberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Alefors came out of the goal and Gustaf Jernberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Sleepy Neanderthals's Viggo Alefors got control of the ball when Walter Brodin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Walter Brodin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viggo Alefors. Walter Brodin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 65th minute, but Viggo Alefors got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sleepy Neanderthals hanging dry this time. Snuddens BK made a substitution. Ernst Nord replaced Edward Forsberg. After a rather tough play, Sleepy Neanderthals's Stefan Lindqvist got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Walter Brodin managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Gustaf Jernberg came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Snuddens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaf Jernberg couldn't finish the play. In the 86th match minute, Sleepy Neanderthals was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Biörnberg to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Walter Brodin notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Sleepy Neanderthals's Viggo Alefors. Viggo Alefors was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Sander charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Sander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Martin Sander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Snuddens BK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sleepy Neanderthals throughout the match.
