Dick Eliasson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7thth minute of the game Axel Holmstedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hopkvarn if's Jan Hedlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Smallville FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Valter Ahlin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Eliasson in the 19th minute of play forced Hopkvarn if's goalkeeper Jan Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malte Petersson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tobias Hedlund came out and tried to block the shot, but Malte Petersson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Axel Holmstedt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jan Hedlund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 40 minutes, Folke Pilgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Smallville FC and the Hopkvarn if players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Smallville FC's Folke Pilgren got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jan Hedlund came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Smallville FC's Erling Hedling. But to his dismay, Erling Hedling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 48th minute Axel Holmstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

A collision led to Smallville FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Axel Holmstedt hit a great ball. Valter Ahlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Ahlin in the 61st minute of play forced Hopkvarn if's goalkeeper Jan Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Erling Hedling came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Smallville FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erling Hedling couldn't finish the play. Dick Eliasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jan Hedlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Smallville FC's Tobias Hedlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Lundström in the 73rd minute of play. Dick Eliasson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Hedlund having to make a save. In the 81st minute Stefan Säv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Hedlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malte Petersson in the 82nd minute of play forced Smallville FC's goalkeeper Tobias Hedlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hopkvarn if's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Holmstedt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Dick Eliasson struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jan Hedlund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Smallville FC. When the final whistle sounded Smallville FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hopkvarn if.
