After a defensive mix-up in Menofta's zone, Mats Eckegren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tanek Brudzisz came out of the goal and Mats Eckegren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Menofta's Kevin Mogren got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lars Viklund in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Wikander saved Norrtälje FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Brolin in the 46th minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper Tanek Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mieszko Puzio was the one to do the kick off. Mieszko Puzio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Wikander having to make a save. Mats Eckegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tanek Brudzisz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norrtälje FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evert Brolin in the 77th minute. A nice corner shot did that Evert Brolin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Brudzisz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cafu Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mieszko Puzio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apostolikas Plexidas charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apostolikas Plexidas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th match minute, Norrtälje FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolikas Plexidas to maneuver through the defense. André Wikander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Puzio, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Menofta's Josef Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 92 minutes, Cafu Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Menofta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cafu Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mieszko Puzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menofta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Norrtälje FC for a fine match.
