Evert Brolin started the match with the kick off. Norrtälje FC's Mats Eckegren got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Nyman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Evert Brolin's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Norrtälje FC's Evert Brolin managed to work through Atletiska Bollklubben's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Evert Brolin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Evert Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Nyman having to interfere. The supporters of Atletiska Bollklubben booed when Norrtälje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Söderberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norrtälje FC's André Wikander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stor Kuk in the 24th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Norrtälje FC got a freekick which was hit by Alf Vinström. With his leg Tim Nyman managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Norrtälje FC's Evert Brolin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Lindgren in the 35th minute of play forced Atletiska Bollklubben's goalkeeper Tim Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atletiska Bollklubben's zone, Evert Brolin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Nyman came out of the goal and Evert Brolin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norrtälje FC's Mats Eckegren got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Norrtälje FC's Evert Brolin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tim Nyman. That made the score 1-0 after 43 minutes of play. Ted Söderberg got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Filip Östlund. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stor Kuk made a kick off. Evert Brolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Nyman having to make a save. 53 minutes into the match, Atletiska Bollklubben's Stor Kuk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Wikander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tim Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Wikander made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Stor Kuk sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Eckegren in the 59th minute of play forced Atletiska Bollklubben's goalkeeper Tim Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mats Eckegren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Norrtälje FC's Evert Brolin to fire away a dangerous shot which Tim Nyman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Stor Kuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Eckegren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tim Nyman having to make a save. Tim Nyman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Ove Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evert Brolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tim Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Ove Lindgren struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Tim Nyman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norrtälje FC. With 82 minutes on the clock, Holger Vidman commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Atletiska Bollklubben:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Evert Brolin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 87th minute Mats Eckegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atletiska Bollklubben's Tim Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Lindgren in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Atletiska Bollklubben got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Ryberg. Norrtälje FC's Jim Söderberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bengt-Rune Kilstedt in the 96 minute of the game. Norrtälje FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
