The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mieszko Puzio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Robin Myr came out and tried to block the shot, but Josef Strömberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Josef Strömberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Robin Myr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Myr was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lars Viklund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 73 minute of play. Henning Alefors kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gösta Pettersson scored 1-8 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robin Myr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Gösta Pettersson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menofta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Västerås fotboll klubb the free kick. Robin Myr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Strömberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Menofta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
