The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Brolin got free with Johannes Nordin in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Glommen United's Ferdinand Mustață quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jan-Olof Vallmark, made in the 5th minute of the game. André Wikander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Bålström in the 8th minute of play. The throw-in from Jan-Olof Vallmark in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Glommen United's Ferdinand Mustață. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesper Granberg in the 11th minute of play forced Norrtälje FC's goalkeeper André Wikander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Josef Bålström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Josef Bålström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Wikander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josef Bålström might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Wikander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Bålström ran back to his position shaking his head. André Wikander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Pilblad in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Norrtälje FC booed when Glommen United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ted Delin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Josef Bålström was the one to do the kick off. When the match was over Glommen United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Norrtälje FC throughout the match.
