Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5608, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 110) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henning Alefors started the match with the kick off. The Atletiska Bollklubben fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Atletiska Bollklubben's Stor Kuk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 17th minute, Västerås fotboll klubb's Henning Alefors ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tim Nyman. Tim Nyman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 21st minute Vincent Ryberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Henning Alefors dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tim Nyman, 2-1. After a rather tough play, Västerås fotboll klubb's Henry Larsson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. John Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Vincent Ryberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robin Myr showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Atletiska Bollklubben's Holger Vidman got a free kick in the 43rd minute. If Henning Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Tim Nyman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Tommy Barck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Atletiska Bollklubben booed when Västerås fotboll klubb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Fribäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Västerås fotboll klubb's Henning Alefors got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 63 minutes, Henning Alefors managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Västerås fotboll klubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henning Alefors was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vincent Ryberg charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vincent Ryberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jens-Ola Stålberg's late challenge caught a Atletiska Bollklubben's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens-Ola Stålberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Jens-Ola Stålberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Stor Kuk kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robin Myr. That made the score 2-2 in the 70 minute of play. Stor Kuks short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Robin Myr to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robin Myr stood somewhat misplaced when Stor Kuk came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 80 minute. In the 84th minute Henning Alefors shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Henning Alefors made a precise shot to the right of Tim Nyman. Atletiska Bollklubben's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stor Kuk in the 93rd minute of play forced Västerås fotboll klubb's goalkeeper Robin Myr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stor Kuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Robin Myr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Västerås fotboll klubb got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Ola Stålberg.
