Jesper Granberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Browald having to interfere. The supporters of Glommen United booed when Mölndal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Vassenius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Jörgen Klemensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Dan Jelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jesper Granberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Bengt-Arne Browald made a huge save. In the 12th minute Glommen United were awarded a corner. Dan Pilblad went to the cornerflag to take it. Samuel Linberg thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Bengt-Arne Browald, a very annoying self made goal in the 12th minute which led to 2-0. Dan Pilblad's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Bengt-Arne Browald skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Christoffer Lilja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Bengt-Arne Browald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Browald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Pilblad in the 22nd minute of the match. Dan Pilblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 27th minute of the match Samuel Linberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johannes Nordin skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Pilblad in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt-Arne Browald saved Mölndal from getting behind. Martin Molin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Mölndal's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Lilja came free, but Bengt-Arne Browald reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dan Pilblad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Pilblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Bengt-Arne Browald made a huge save. In the 44th minute, Jesper Granberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bengt-Arne Browald was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dan Pilblad to make the kick off. Lars Sjögren hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute Jesper Granberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Arne Browald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Colas Cortez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bengt-Arne Browald having to make a save. Colas Cortez struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Bengt-Arne Browald didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glommen United. Bengt-Arne Browald came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Glommen United's Dan Pilblad. But to his dismay, Dan Pilblad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Bengt-Arne Browald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Lilja, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Glommen United made a substitution. Josef Bålström replaced Dan Pilblad. In the 75th minute of the game Jörgen Klemensson made a throw-in which Aron Högström played forward. When Josef Bålström came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Glommen United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Bålström couldn't finish the play. After having played for 82 minutes, Josef Bålström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glommen United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josef Bålström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bengt-Arne Browald showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Lilja in the 84th minute of the match. Dan Jelm's late challenge caught a Glommen United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dan Jelm helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Mölndal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Jelm to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 90 minutes, Jesper Granberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Glommen United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jesper Granberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mölndal's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Browald, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bengt-Arne Browald didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Lilja went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Glommen United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
