Evert Brolin started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Menofta's Mieszko Puzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Wikander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 5 minutes, Mats Eckegren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norrtälje FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mats Eckegren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. André Wikander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute Mieszko Puzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Wikander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Lars Viklund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Wikander. Norrtälje FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lars Viklund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 25th minute, Lars Viklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Wikander was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience was convinced that Mieszko Puzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Wikander was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Norrtälje FC's André Wikander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Puzio in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Lars Viklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Menofta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Norrtälje FC's André Wikander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mieszko Puzio in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Menofta booed when Norrtälje FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Olof Vallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Mieszko Puzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Wikander. But to his dismay, Lars Viklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 45 minutes into the game, Menofta's Mieszko Puzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Wikander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lars Viklund to strike the kick off in the second half. Mats Eckegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Brudzisz having to interfere. Jan-Ove Lindgren scored 1-8 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tanek Brudzisz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Wikander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Viklund, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Mieszko Puzio came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and André Wikander could save by the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Norrtälje FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Viklund came free, but André Wikander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafu Toledo took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Wikander. André Wikander dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. 79 minutes into the game, Menofta's Mieszko Puzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Wikander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. When Menofta's Lars Viklund in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norrtälje FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Norrtälje FC defense, Lars Viklund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Wikander. The Norrtälje FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Wikander should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Norrtälje FC's goalkeeper André Wikander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mieszko Puzio. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Cafu Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menofta's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafu Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Wikander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Evert Brolin fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Norrtälje FC's protests and gave Evert Brolin a yellow card for diving instead. Evert Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Menofta's Cafu Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Wikander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mieszko Puzio in the 95th minute. The Menofta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menofta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
