In the 72nd minute of the match Stolpskott got a corner. Värnamo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alexander Hurtig ran over to the corner to take the kick. 75 minutes into the match, Stolpskott's Örjan Hallgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jörn Vennerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Stolpskott's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Ekeberg came free, but Billy Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Värnamo's Nils Eklund made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billy Kinnman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Örjan Hallgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörn Vennerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Hallgren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute, Värnamo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexander Hurtig fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Örjan Hallgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Vennerberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Alexander Hurtig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stolpskott's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Hurtig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn Vennerberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stolpskott's Örjan Hallgren got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Örjan Hallgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jörn Vennerberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Örjan Hallgren ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 98th minute, Richard Smefeldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Värnamo had won after a very even match.
