Stig-Arne Lövskog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egon Ahlström in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Ronny Ekelund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 played minutes Bjärnum got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Nilsson. If Charlie Danielsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samlaget's goalkeeper Yngve Helander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Arne Lövskog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Ahlström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the match, Evert Billock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Lövskog. Bjärnum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evert Billock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Stig-Arne Lövskog didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Evert Billock went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Egon Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Bjärnum's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Ahlström came free, but Stig-Arne Lövskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Lindsten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Yngve Helander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Birger Forsell fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Samlaget's protests and gave Birger Forsell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Birger Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Evert Billock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig-Arne Lövskog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Bjärnum's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Danielsson came free, but Stig-Arne Lövskog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bjärnum players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Samlaget were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Ove Persson made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Bjärnum's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Evert Billock who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Samlaget's Birger Forsell getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Birger Forsell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes, Maximilian Bergström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bjärnum and the Samlaget players grew even worse after the yellow card. 78 minutes into the match, Karl-Erik Lindsten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yngve Helander. Samlaget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Erik Lindsten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Stig-Arne Lövskog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Ahlström in the 81st minute of the match. Stig-Arne Lövskog stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egon Ahlström's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Charlie Danielssons short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Stig-Arne Lövskog to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sten Örtlund kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Bjärnum getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Ronny Ekelund hit a great ball. Sven-Åke Juhlin made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Petter Bremming however managed to control. 93 minutes into the match, Evert Billock dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stig-Arne Lövskog, 2-3. The Samlaget players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
