Sigvard Albohm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Ahlroht in the 33rd minute of play. Mikael Gustavsson charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mikael Gustavsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Råsunda IS's Mikael Gustavsson got a free kick in the 36th minute. The Råsunda IS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Sigvard Albohm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Gustavsson in the 45th minute of the match. Helsingborgs IF's Sigvard Albohm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Ahlroht in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Råsunda IS were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Gustavsson was the one to do the kick off. Viktor Siggesson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 54 minutes into the match, Helsingborgs IF's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Bäckman came free, but Sigvard Albohm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johnny Viklund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Egil Bäckman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Albohm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Råsunda IS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Egil Bäckman hit a great ball. With a little luck, Helsingborgs IF's Sigvard Albohm got control of the ball when Aleksander Brandt tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Mikael Gustavsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sigvard Albohm. The goal made the score 0-7. Råsunda IS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
