After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lansjärv! Bo Sjö's late challenge caught a Swindon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Sjö helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Bo Sjö hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Swindon FC's Bernt Göransson got a free kick in the 14th minute. Georg Hedlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Swindon FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Carl Johansson hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Lansjärv's Algot Utter got a free kick in the 21st minute. 31 minutes into the match, Swindon FC's goalkeeper Michel Lindgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manfred Thedin. Bertil Pil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manfred Thedin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Michel Lindgren made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Manfred Thedin sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Strömberg got free with Michel Lindgren in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 42 minutes into the game, Manfred Thedin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Michel Lindgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bertil Pil made the kick off in the second half. Bertil Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Oliver Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Hedlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Manfred Thedin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Lindgren. Swindon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Thedin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jonathan Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Lansjärv's Oliver Ahlkvist got control of the ball when Bertil Pil tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christer Gunnarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After 86 played minutes Swindon FC got a freekick which was hit by Nils Fanström. Michael Bröms took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Michel Lindgren. Swindon FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lansjärv had won after a very even match.
