Torsten Ståhlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Håkan Sandberg during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lindesberg RK's Håkan Sandberg got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 22 played minutes Råsunda IS got a freekick which was hit by Aleksander Brandt. The supporters of Lindesberg RK booed when Råsunda IS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Ahlroht didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, one of Råsunda IS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Råsunda IS. The referee gave Lindesberg RK a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ingvar Damm, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Råsunda IS's Torsten Lundström. 0-3. Christer Fredriksson made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Mikael Gustavsson sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, Ingvar Damm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lindesberg RK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 43 minutes into the match, Lindesberg RK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Gustavsson came free, but Christer Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christer Fredriksson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alex Holmberg. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ingvar Damm to strike the kick off in the second half. When Torsten Ståhlberg came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lindesberg RK fans jumped to their feet. Christer Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Gustavsson in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Damm in the 64th minute of play forced Råsunda IS's goalkeeper Torsten Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Östlund took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Torsten Lundström. Torsten Lundström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After 67 played minutes Lindesberg RK got a freekick which was hit by Folke Brandt. When Aleksander Brandt came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Råsunda IS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aleksander Brandt couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute, Charles Ahlroht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Ingvar Damm from a close distance when the talented Torsten Lundström managed to make a qualified save. Råsunda IS's players were relieved. 88 minutes in the game Marcus Ek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Per-Arne Östlund. The audience was convinced that Mikael Gustavsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christer Fredriksson was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. If Charles Ahlroht had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Råsunda IS lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
