If Robert Broman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Magnus Asserlindh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Broman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Chalus FC got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Berglund. Kjell Vacker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karl-Magnus Asserlindh. Chalus FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Al-Pune's goalkeeper Linus Andersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torgny Bjurström. Chalus FC's Mikael Lindholm got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robert Broman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Chalus FC's Ludwig Berglund got a free kick in the 36th minute. Torgny Bjurström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, Al-Pune was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Bagge to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When Torgny Bjurström came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Chalus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Bjurström couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Lindholm in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Andersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 minutes, Osvald Tinglöf mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Pune and the Chalus FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Al-Pune! In the 69th minute there was a penalty for Chalus FC. Anton Stenkvist stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Linus Andersson. 2-1. Hans Alberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mikael Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linus Andersson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Lindholm in the 80th minute of play forced Al-Pune's goalkeeper Linus Andersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Al-Pune getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Vilhelm Paulin hit a great ball. Karl-Magnus Asserlindh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Boklund went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Torsten Boklund struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Karl-Magnus Asserlindh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Al-Pune. If Torsten Boklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Torgny Bjurström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Linus Andersson. Al-Pune's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgny Bjurström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 99th minute Robert Broman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Magnus Asserlindh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
