Stefan Nordström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörn Söderman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Sturkö's goalkeeper Reine Bergman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Jernberg. In the 15th minute Gert Haraldsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörn Söderman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörn Söderman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 76th match minute, Lock Stock FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Tomasson to maneuver through the defense. Gert Haraldsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Jörn Söderman made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Jan-Ove Back got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gert Haraldsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörn Söderman having to interfere. Sturkö's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
