Jörn Söderman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Löfdahl, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. If Marcus Löfdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rydaholm IFK's zone, Fredrik Soned stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torbjörn Öberg came out of the goal and Fredrik Soned tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Torbjörn Öberg managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Lock Stock FF's Nils Jernberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 36 played minutes Rydaholm IFK got a freekick which was hit by Robin Eriksson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Back in the 41st minute of play forced Rydaholm IFK's goalkeeper Torbjörn Öberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdemar Ekgren was the one to do the kick off. Lock Stock FF's Jörn Söderman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Lock Stock FF from getting a goal against them. After 54th play minutes Jan-Ove Back shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Torbjörn Öberg and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Jan-Ove Back managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lock Stock FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Back was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jörn Söderman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Löfdahl went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Valdemar Ekgren came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rydaholm IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Ekgren couldn't finish the play. In the 75th match minute, Lock Stock FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Rune Ekström to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony Tomasson during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Lock Stock FF got a freekick which was hit by Tony Tomasson. When Jens-Ove Söderberg fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rydaholm IFK's protests and gave Jens-Ove Söderberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 91st minute, Jens-Ove Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rydaholm IFK played a much better game than Lock Stock FF and deserved their victory. The Lock Stock FF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
