After a defensive mix-up in Bajen Bärs Brudar's zone, Stefan Nordström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Winström came out of the goal and Stefan Nordström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jens Winström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Johansson in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Bajen Bärs Brudar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. Reine Bergman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Malmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jens Winström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Nordström in the 57th minute of the match. Bajen Bärs Brudar's Jens Winström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Bajen Bärs Brudar from getting a goal against them. Sturkö's Stefan Nordström got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Bajen Bärs Brudar's Jens Winström got control of the ball when Gert Haraldsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gert Haraldsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Sturkö's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 91st minute, Stefan Nordström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jens Winström. The goal made the score 1-1. With an all-out effort, Sturkö's Jens Winström threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Nordström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
