A collision led to FK Crvena Zvezda getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Stig-Arne Duset hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dag Jansson during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The FK Crvena Zvezda fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when FK Crvena Zvezda's Malcolm Göransson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 14th match minute, Söderbröder FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Dahlberg to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Arne Duset in the 17th minute of play forced Söderbröder FC's goalkeeper Ove Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute FK Crvena Zvezda were awarded a corner. Dag Jansson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Söderbröder FC's goalie and right to Stig-Arne Duset. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Söderbröder FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Söderbröder FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Max Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Malcolm Göransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malcolm Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ove Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Malcolm Göransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes, Stig-Arne Duset made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Söderbröder FC's Ove Nordström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Erland Hagström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ove Nordström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Max Gunnarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Max Gunnarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Söderbröder FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Max Gunnarsson hit a great ball. Nicklas Sefastsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Browall having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Ove Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Duset in the 51st minute of play. Ove Nordström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Stig-Arne Duset recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Söderbröder FC's zone, Malcolm Göransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ove Nordström came out of the goal and Malcolm Göransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Nordström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Duset in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Nicklas Sefastsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Browall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes, Joar Carlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Crvena Zvezda and the Söderbröder FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Joar Carlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicklas Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Isak Hjälm fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Crvena Zvezda's protests and gave Isak Hjälm a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FK Crvena Zvezda's Isak Hjälm got a free kick in the 75th minute. Ove Nordström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Duset in the 77th minute of play. FK Crvena Zvezda's Malcolm Göransson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Palm hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Leif Browall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Dahlberg in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Isak Hjälm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Dahlberg's late challenge caught a FK Crvena Zvezda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddie Dahlberg helped the player get up and apologised.
