The player immediately received a yellow card. Bo Petersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Västerstrand in the 5th minute of play. Harry Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bo Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmie Västerstrand got in the 15th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bo Petersson handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Bo Petersson came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by GrandeRodeOlofMMyFriend's Jimmie Västerstrand. But to his dismay, Jimmie Västerstrand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmie Västerstrand in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bo Petersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Michael Ahlén came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the GrandeRodeOlofMMyFriend fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Ahlén couldn't finish the play. In the 24th match minute, Rödeby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Lönn to maneuver through the defense. Jimmie Västerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengt Lönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Bo Petersson managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when GrandeRodeOlofMMyFriend's Jimmie Västerstrand fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bengt Lönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Fransson having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt Lönn to make the kick off. Bengt Lönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Fransson having to interfere. Billy Ek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Billy Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rödeby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Billy Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernst Mager kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jimmie Västerstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Petersson having to interfere. Torsten Hultstrand hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Jimmie Västerstrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Bo Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute Michael Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bo Petersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the GrandeRodeOlofMMyFriend players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
