Bo Petersson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Hansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Petersson having to interfere. Rödeby's Billy Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt Lönn in the 94th minute of play forced Värends Nöbbele RK's goalkeeper Kristoffer Björkman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rödeby's Valter Tidén got a free kick in the 95th minute.
