Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jörgen Stål started the match with the kick off. If Vincent Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Jörgen Stål was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ostby FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Crvena Zvezda the free kick. A collision led to Ostby FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jörgen Stål hit a great ball. Conny Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Jansson in the 9th minute of play. Uno Bergqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Conny Adelsköld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ostby FC's Vincent Palmquist in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Crvena Zvezda's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, FK Crvena Zvezda's Stig-Arne Duset sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Conny Adelsköld narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FK Crvena Zvezda's Malcolm Göransson got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute Olov Ekström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Browall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Stig-Arne Duset left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FK Crvena Zvezda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ostby FC's Conny Adelsköld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Hagström in the 30th minute of play. Conny Adelsköld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm Göransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Pontus Vallander hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Conny Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Hagström in the 41st minute of play. Conny Adelsköld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Hagström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm Göransson in the 48th minute of play forced Ostby FC's goalkeeper Conny Adelsköld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 53 minutes, Ted Stålberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ostby FC and the FK Crvena Zvezda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ostby FC's Ted Stålberg got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes FK Crvena Zvezda got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Duset. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Palmquist in the 58th minute of play forced FK Crvena Zvezda's goalkeeper Leif Browall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Uno Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Leif Browall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Palmquist in the 62nd minute of play. Jörgen Stål recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Yngve Markusson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Browall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Jörgen Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ostby FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Stål was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Browall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leif Browall came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ostby FC's Jörgen Stål. But to his dismay, Jörgen Stål quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ostby FC's Conny Adelsköld played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erland Hagström in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Börje Bäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Vincent Palmquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Browall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Stål struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Leif Browall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ostby FC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Malcolm Göransson got free with Conny Adelsköld in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conny Adelsköld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erland Hagström in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Vincent Palmquist notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FK Crvena Zvezda's Leif Browall. Leif Browall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
