Ivan Helberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Übi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bertil Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rune Beckström made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Black Skorpion got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Bremming. Black Skorpion's Ivan Helberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Skorpion from getting a goal against them. Ivan Helberg was a little too slow when Lennart Übi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. When Bengt Lööf came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Heaven fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Lööf couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Heaven's Björn Skager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Helberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Helberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Lööf in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Lennart Übi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Helberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Skorpion's goalkeeper Ivan Helberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Heaven eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
