The Julita fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Julita's Hubert Wennerlund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julita were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Sjuntorps if's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Birger Linqvist took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Birger Linqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Börje Lind quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Björn Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Börje Berg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sjuntorps if. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Nykvist during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee gave Julita a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hubert Wennerlund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sjuntorps if's Börje Lind. 0-4. The Sjuntorps if players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Julita were winning 0-4.

The supporters of Julita booed when Sjuntorps if was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Holger Sundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Sjuntorps if's goalkeeper Börje Lind had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Nykvist. If Håkan Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hubert Wennerlund's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Börje Lind skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 65th minute, Holger Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Julita got a freekick which was hit by William Häger. The audience was convinced that Hubert Wennerlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Börje Lind was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. With his leg Börje Lind managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Julita's Hubert Wennerlund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julita had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
