Spectators: 7143 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Patrick Bergdal made the kick off and thus started the match. The Stenhamra fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Stenhamra's Kjell Brenner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ulf Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kjell Brenner in the 7th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Stenhamra's Kjell Brenner slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulf Lundgren. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. 12 minutes into the match, Hammarby SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell Brenner came free, but Ulf Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Tomas Broberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hammarby SK and the Stenhamra players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Tomas Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Fred Deckberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Ulf Lundgren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th minute Kjell Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Stenhamra getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Dick Palmkvist hit a great ball. Olof Bäcklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hammarby SK's Ulf Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell Brenner in the 45th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell Brenner to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kjell Brenner in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulf Lundgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Stenhamra getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Måns Jonasson hit a great ball. Ulf Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Bäcklin in the 57th minute of play. Kjell Brenner took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulf Lundgren. Ulf Lundgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 68 played minutes Stenhamra got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Wallin. Tomas Broberg kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Hammarby SK's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Bäcklin came free, but Ulf Lundgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Olof Bäcklin made a precise shot to the right of Ulf Lundgren. Hammarby SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Fredrik Wallin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
