In the 13th match minute, Grottan Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henry Apelkvist to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Elof Björkdal notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Grottan Boys's Douglas Unesson. Douglas Unesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Sörberge getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Elof Björkdal hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Arne Hernström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sörberge's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Kalle Fagrell scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Kielberg, making the score, 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Apelkvist in the 26th minute of play forced Sörberge's goalkeeper Tomas Kielberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Kielberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes of play Sörberge's Elof Björkdal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Sörberge's Elof Björkdal got a free kick in the 31st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henry Apelkvist in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Kielberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Wilhelm Lundqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Henry Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Unesson having to interfere. Grottan Boys's Douglas Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilhelm Lundqvist in the 41st minute of play. Birger Brandt charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Birger Brandt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Birger Brandt kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Hans Sundberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Kielberg skillfully saved the ball. Kalle Fagrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Apelkvist made a kick off. Tomas Kielberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Apelkvist in the 52nd minute of the match. Tomas Kielberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Apelkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Unesson was a little too slow when Dan Fribäck got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Wilhelm Lundqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sörberge's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilhelm Lundqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Douglas Unesson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd match minute, Sörberge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Göransson to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Henry Apelkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Kielberg was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. In the 65th match minute, Grottan Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Heggert to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Grottan Boys's goalkeeper Douglas Unesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Ekström. The supporters of Grottan Boys booed when Sörberge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilhelm Lundqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute, Pål Lönn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Henry Apelkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grottan Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Apelkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Dan Fribäck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Kielberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Lönn in the 85th minute of the match. Henry Apelkvist took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Kielberg. Tomas Kielberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. When Alexander Alin came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Grottan Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexander Alin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sörberge's Thor Göransson got a free kick in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Grottan Boys had won after a very even match.
