Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Henry Apelkvist made the kick off and thus started the match. 2 minutes into the match, Grottan Boys's goalkeeper Douglas Unesson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertil Holm. Grottan Boys's Douglas Unesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Grottan Boys from getting a goal against them. Lennart Deckberghs short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Douglas Unesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lennart Deckbergh took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Unesson. Douglas Unesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pål Lönn in the 26th minute of play forced StarFC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Douglas Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Pilblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Douglas Unesson was a little too slow when Pål Nilsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. With a little luck, Grottan Boys's Douglas Unesson got control of the ball when Lennart Deckbergh tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lennart Deckbergh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Douglas Unesson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lennart Deckberghs short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Douglas Unesson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the game, Lennart Deckbergh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Douglas Unesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lennart Deckbergh struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Douglas Unesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for StarFC. Pål Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Douglas Unesson made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pål Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in StarFC's zone, Alexander Alin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven-Olof Gustavsson came out of the goal and Alexander Alin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grottan Boys's Douglas Unesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Deckbergh in the 54th minute of play. Douglas Unesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pål Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Olof Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Alin in the 60th minute. The supporters of Grottan Boys booed when StarFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertil Holm didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lennart Deckbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, StarFC's Lennart Deckbergh made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Douglas Unesson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 70 minutes into the match, Lennart Deckbergh notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Grottan Boys's Douglas Unesson. Douglas Unesson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lennart Deckbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Douglas Unesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sven-Olof Gustavsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Apelkvist in the 75th minute of the match. If Pål Lönn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 79 in the game by Pål Lönn from a close distance when the talented Sven-Olof Gustavsson managed to make a qualified save. StarFC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Grottan Boys's zone, Tage Vase stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Douglas Unesson came out of the goal and Tage Vase tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lennart Deckbergh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Pål Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Unesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Deckbergh took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Douglas Unesson. Douglas Unesson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. If Henry Apelkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
