Ludwig Carlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Engström in the 12th minute of play. Christer Engström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludwig Carlsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Jörgen Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Christer Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludwig Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Erik Wassenius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ludwig Carlsson made a huge save. Vilgot Moberg charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Kaj Sjödin hit a great ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Robert Sjödin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Totte´s BK's Jörgen Jönsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. København's Mathias Pihl. But to his dismay, Mathias Pihl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mathias Pihl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörgen Jönsson having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christer Engström to make the kick off. Ludwig Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Erik Wassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes, Harald Ekström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. København and the Totte´s BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Pihl in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Jönsson saved Totte´s BK from getting behind. Ludwig Carlsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Erik Wassenius's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The supporters of F.C. København booed when Totte´s BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Blom didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. København's Torsten Söderqwist took a good shot, in the 93rd minute, which hit the crossbar above Jörgen Jönsson's head, and flew over the goal. Totte´s BK's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by F.C. København. F.C. København played a much better game than Totte´s BK and deserved their victory. The Totte´s BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
