When Christian Julin fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bograngen's protests and gave Christian Julin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Christian Julin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, StarFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pål Nilsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Björkkvist in the 27th minute of play forced StarFC's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lennart Deckbergh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. StarFC's Sven-Olof Gustavsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save StarFC from getting a goal against them. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
