Spectators: 7480 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kurt Lange started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Färnäs SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Larsfält to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Sven-Arne Larsfält reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fred Björkdahl. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to Färnäs SK getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Wilhelm Källberg hit a great ball. Arvid Björkman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Njutångers BK's George Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Emil Bammerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Mossberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Färnäs SK's Michael Mossberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Odin in the 24th minute of play. Fred Björkdahl was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Kurt Lange capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kurt Lange really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Njutångers BK booed when Färnäs SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Larsfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Kurt Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Björkdahl didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. In the 41st minute Jimmie Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Mossberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimmie Odin to make the kick off. Fred Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Arne Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Njutångers BK's Fred Björkdahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Lange in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Färnäs SK's Kurt Lange sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Björkdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Färnäs SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Lange to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Färnäs SK getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Sven-Arne Larsfält hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, Wilhelm Källberg notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Njutångers BK's Fred Björkdahl. Fred Björkdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Färnäs SK getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. John Bergvall hit a great ball. Kurt Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the match, Njutångers BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Arne Larsfält came free, but Fred Björkdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Kurt Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Björkdahl came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Färnäs SK's Sven-Arne Larsfält. But to his dismay, Sven-Arne Larsfält quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Wilhelm Källberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Fred Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 94 minutes, Kurt Lange managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Färnäs SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Lange was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Färnäs SK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
