Joar Fogel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Valler having to interfere. Sven-Erik Lindberg charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Lindberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Sven-Erik Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filip Lindqvist scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anton Valler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Dag Bohlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anton Valler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Sven-Erik Felin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Folke Falkrantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Bohlin in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Valler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd match minute, Kalmar FFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Martinsson to maneuver through the defense. Anton Valler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Bohlin in the 33rd minute of play. Alexander Jönsson kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magnus Martinsson during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Magnus Martinsson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Kalmar FFK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Bohlin came free, but Anton Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Filip Lindqvist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of The Lions booed when Kalmar FFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, The Lions's Dag Bohlin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Valler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 63 minutes of play, Kalmar FFK's Sven-Erik Felin made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Falkrantz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Dag Bohlin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anton Valler was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Erik Felin in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Falkrantz saved The Lions from getting behind. Sven-Erik Felin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Folke Falkrantz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Kalmar FFK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Bohlin came free, but Anton Valler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
