Speed Trap
Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jimmie Odin got the match started through his kick off. After 3 minutes, Birger Björkqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Njutångers BK and the Rosendal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Birger Björkqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Ivar Viberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Njutångers BK's Fred Björkdahl. Fred Björkdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Olov Hamberg took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Björkdahl. Fred Björkdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 17th minute Olov Hamberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Rosendal FC's Herman Nilsson to fire away a dangerous shot which Fred Björkdahl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 20th minute Ivar Viberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Björkdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Rosendal FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Allan Nyqvist hit a great ball. Tom Lööf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Sjögren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Ivar Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivar Viberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fred Björkdahl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Karl-Johan Vikström hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Jimmie Odin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Lööf having to interfere. Rosendal FC's Olov Hamberg got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olov Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Allan Nyqvist came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Rosendal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Nyqvist couldn't finish the play. If Olov Hamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ivar Viberg made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the game, Olov Hamberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosendal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Njutångers BK the free kick. The supporters of Njutångers BK booed when Rosendal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Hamberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Njutångers BK's goalkeeper Fred Björkdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Viberg. After 75 played minutes Rosendal FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Johan Vikström. In the 79th match minute, Rosendal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Nyqvist to maneuver through the defense. Ivar Viberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred Björkdahl came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivar Viberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 84th minute. Ivar Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Björkdahl having to interfere. Ivar Viberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Johannes Ek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Njutångers BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosendal FC the free kick. Johannes Ek hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
