Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) 8 minutes into the match, Filip Lindqvist notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Njutångers BK's Fred Björkdahl. Fred Björkdahl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Emil Bammerman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Njutångers BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Bammerman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Falkrantz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fred Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Bohlin in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, The Lions's goalkeeper Folke Falkrantz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmie Odin. Filip Lindqvist took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Björkdahl. Fred Björkdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jimmie Odin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Folke Falkrantz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Njutångers BK's Emil Bammerman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Folke Falkrantz. That made the score 1-2 after 37 minutes of play. Fred Björkdahl stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dag Bohlin's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The Njutångers BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Lions were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dag Bohlin to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Njutångers BK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Jimmie Odin hit a great ball. Njutångers BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Sven-Erik Lindberg scored to the left of an out of position Fred Björkdahl, making the score, 1-3. 66 minutes into the game, Dag Bohlin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fred Björkdahl. Dag Bohlin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The attack was good, but when Dag Bohlin in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 75 minutes into the match, The Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmie Odin came free, but Folke Falkrantz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Njutångers BK's goalkeeper Fred Björkdahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Lindqvist. If Adrian Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Njutångers BK booed when The Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joar Fogel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Folke Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Odin in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in The Lions's zone, Jimmie Odin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Falkrantz came out of the goal and Jimmie Odin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Lions's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
