The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 12 minutes into the match, Elliot Ekström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anton Glanselius, 1-0. Fc Malmö's Staffan Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliot Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Ekström in the 25th minute of the match. If Carl Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Ekström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute of the match, Elliot Ekström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anton Glanselius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Glenns Unajted's Carl Ersman got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elliot Ekström in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anton Glanselius saved Fc Malmö from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Anton Glanselius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Glenns Unajted's Edwin Torsberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anton Glanselius. That made the score 2-0 after 48 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elliot Ekström was the one to do the kick off. Carl Ersman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Glanselius having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Elliot Ekström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc Malmö fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Elliot Ekström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Nyman during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 75 minutes into the match, Glenns Unajted's Elliot Ekström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anton Glanselius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Staffan Lundberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Per-Erik Mogren having to make a save. Anton Glanselius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Ersman in the 78th minute of play. Elliot Ekström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Glanselius having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Glanselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliot Ekström in the 89th minute of the match. Anton Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliot Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan-Olof Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anton Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Ersman, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. Glenns Unajted walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
