Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eric Hjeltman started the match with the kick off. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Eric Hjeltman sped through Glenns Unajted's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Per-Erik Mogren. 10 minutes into the match, Lakene IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Ekström came free, but Edgar Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwin Torsberg hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Edgar Stephansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ersman in the 16th minute of play forced Lakene IFK's goalkeeper Edgar Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Erik Mogren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Stephansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Torsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eric Hjeltman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Per-Erik Mogren made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Hjalmar Lindqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Per-Erik Mogren. The goal made the score 2-1. After 31 played minutes Glenns Unajted got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Ekström. Hjalmar Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Mogren having to interfere. Edgar Stephansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Ersman in the 42nd minute of play forced Lakene IFK's goalkeeper Edgar Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elliot Ekström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per-Erik Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Arne Höijer in the 51st minute of the match. If Eric Hjeltman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per-Erik Mogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Hjeltman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Lakene IFK were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Glenns Unajted's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viggo Eskilsson took the corner. Lakene IFK's Viggo Eskilsson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Per-Erik Mogren in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Per-Erik Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hjalmar Lindqvist in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Hjeltman in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Erik Mogren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 83 minutes, Eric Hjeltman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lakene IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Hjeltman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th match minute, Lakene IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arvin Ivarsson to maneuver through the defense. Glenns Unajted's Roger Ahlén shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 87th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Edgar Stephansson but with some difficulty. With 88 minutes on the clock, Sten Ambjörnsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 89 played minutes Lakene IFK got a freekick which was hit by Sten Ambjörnsson. Per-Erik Mogren came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Lakene IFK's Eric Hjeltman. But to his dismay, Eric Hjeltman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Glenns Unajted players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lakene IFK.
