Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Håkan Utfal came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Lakene IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Utfal couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Lakene IFK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Linberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pelle Strömqvist in the 11th minute of play forced Lakene IFK's goalkeeper Edgar Stephansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Linberg's late challenge caught a Horn FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simon Linberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Horn FK booed when Lakene IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Linberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mats Falk struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Edgar Stephansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horn FK. Edgar Stephansson went to the wrong direction when Alex Eriksson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After a rather tough play, Horn FK's Nicklas Ahlgren got a free kick in the 20th minute. Håkan Utfal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rickard Lindgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Lindgren was a little too slow when Hjalmar Lindqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 45th match minute, Horn FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Johansson to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Elias Barck tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Rickard Lindgren. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute, Hjalmar Lindqvist made a precise shot to the right of Rickard Lindgren. Horn FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Pelle Strömqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Horn FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicklas Ahlgren to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Ove Tunström hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Rickard Lindgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Håkan Utfal in the 71st minute of play. In the 76th minute, Håkan Utfal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th minute Klas Johansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Stephansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Edgar Stephansson managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Horn FK's Pelle Strömqvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Klas Johansson fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horn FK's protests and gave Klas Johansson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Horn FK getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Klas Johansson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Utfal in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickard Lindgren saved Horn FK from getting behind. When Lakene IFK's Håkan Utfal in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Horn FK's goalie prevented a goal.
