Torbjörn Ahlbom blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Mattsson having to make a save. 13 minutes into the match, Jailbird FC's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Ahlbom came free, but Patrick Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Jailbird FC booed when Ängö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Verholt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jailbird FC's Rune Lindholm in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Patrick Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Torbjörn Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The supporters of Jailbird FC booed when Ängö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Ahlbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sture Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Lindholm in the 40th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Emanuel Målare made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Målare was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Patrick Mattsson was a little too slow when Torbjörn Ahlbom got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. Georg Kilman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Mattsson having to interfere. Jailbird FC's Patrick Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Thorsberg in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Georg Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängö BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Joel Åhman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Joakim Thorsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ängö BK's Georg Kilman got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ivar Ahlquist's late challenge caught a Ängö BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivar Ahlquist helped the player get up and apologised. 75 minutes into the match, Georg Kilman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Mattsson. Jailbird FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Georg Kilman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Joakim Thorsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Mattsson having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Georg Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Georg Kilman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Patrick Mattsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivar Ahlquist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sture Henriksson having to make a save. Patrick Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joakim Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bart Sommers kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Patrick Mattsson came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Ängö BK's Torbjörn Ahlbom. But to his dismay, Torbjörn Ahlbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Ängö BK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
