Johannes Brummer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Stig-Åke Andberg made a huge save. Albert Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Westerberg having to interfere. Viggo Vallmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stig-Åke Andberg made a huge save. After 25 minutes of play, The Mongols's Albert Hernström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josef Westerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Sunshiine FF's zone, Albert Hernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Westerberg came out of the goal and Albert Hernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to The Mongols getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Johannes Vennerkvist hit a great ball. Johannes Brummer struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Stig-Åke Andberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sunshiine FF. When Johannes Brummer came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sunshiine FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Brummer couldn't finish the play. Viggo Vallmark took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stig-Åke Andberg. Stig-Åke Andberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 42 minutes, Johannes Brummer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunshiine FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Brummer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, The Mongols's Yngve Alén got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half The Mongols were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Johannes Brummer to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sunshiine FF's Johannes Brummer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig-Åke Andberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Brummer in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig-Åke Andberg saved The Mongols from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Bålström in the 58th minute of play forced The Mongols's goalkeeper Stig-Åke Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josef Westerberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Vallin's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Adrian Falk hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Johannes Brummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Stig-Åke Andberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the The Mongols defense, Viggo Vallmark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig-Åke Andberg. The The Mongols fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig-Åke Andberg should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Tage Classon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johannes Brummer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in The Mongols's zone, Johannes Brummer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig-Åke Andberg came out of the goal and Johannes Brummer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, The Mongols's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Brummer came free, but Stig-Åke Andberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stig-Åke Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Brummer, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, William Vallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erling Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Gustaf Nordström threw the ball into play from the sideline. The Mongols's Charles Colin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Josef Westerberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albert Hernström in the 91st minute. Johannes Brummer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Viktor Bålström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Vallin charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Vallin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sunshiine FF booed when The Mongols was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Vallin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
