Karl-Michael Kruuse made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Bengt-Rune Lundgren sent off a good shot on target. Bengt-Rune Lundgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Karl-Michael Kruuse made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Tims Tomtar's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Kruuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bengt-Rune Lundgren. Karl-Michael Kruuse made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ernst Lind sent off a good shot on target. 17 minutes into the game, Ivan Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tims Tomtar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harmless Newbies the free kick. Ivan Gustafsson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. When Harmless Newbies's Bengt-Rune Lundgren in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tims Tomtar's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th match minute, Tims Tomtar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Gustafsson to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Per Pihlblad in the 21st minute really tested Karl-Michael Kruuse's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience was convinced that Bengt-Rune Lundgren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Michael Kruuse was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Karl-Michael Fanström might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Michael Kruuse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Michael Fanström ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Tims Tomtar's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Kruuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Pil. In the 26th minute of the match, Bengt-Rune Lundgren tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karl-Michael Kruuse saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Ernst Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Kruuse was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Karl-Michael Fanström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl-Michael Fanström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Ernst Lind dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karl-Michael Kruuse, 2-1. Svante Dahlman lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Brodin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Harmless Newbies booed when Tims Tomtar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils Valrot didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 55 played minutes, Harmless Newbies's Per Pihlblad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl-Michael Kruuse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Harmless Newbies reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Lundgren in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Michael Kruuse saved Tims Tomtar from getting behind. Karl-Michael Fanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Karl-Michael Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 66 played minutes Tims Tomtar got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Gustafsson. Karl-Michael Kruuse stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Lundgren's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Karl-Michael Kruuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Lundgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Helge Askelöf kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Ahlström in the 79th minute of play forced Tims Tomtar's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Kruuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Ingvar Pil notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Tims Tomtar's Karl-Michael Kruuse. Karl-Michael Kruuse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emanuel Qvarnström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Karl-Michael Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Gustafsson kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Per Pihlblad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl-Michael Kruuse skillfully saved the ball. In the 87th minute Bengt-Rune Lundgren collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Nils Valrot charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils Valrot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 86 minutes into the game, one of Tims Tomtar:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tims Tomtar's Karl-Michael Kruuse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Fanström in the 92nd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Harmless Newbies players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
