After 3 played minutes GGG got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Bengtsson. If Helge Bern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erland Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Engström, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Bern in the 9th minute of play forced GGG's goalkeeper Erland Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the GGG defense, Silvio Soin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erland Bergqvist. The GGG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erland Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. Erland Bergqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvio Soin went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute Silvio Soin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erland Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Bern in the 21st minute of play. Thor Högberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erland Bergqvist. GGG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Erland Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Bern in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, Chrillex FC's Silvio Soin made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erland Bergqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! GGG's Tord Hellsing got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to GGG getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Håkan Bengtsson hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match Thor Högberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erland Bergqvist skillfully saved the ball. Erland Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Chrillex FC's Helge Bern nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erland Bergqvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 42nd match minute, GGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Strömberg to maneuver through the defense. Chrillex FC's Thor Högberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for GGG. In the 45th minute, Helge Bern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erland Bergqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivar Engström made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chrillex FC! 56 minutes into the game, Ivar Engström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chrillex FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GGG the free kick. After 56 played minutes Chrillex FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Engström. Aleksander Anselius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Berglund in the 66th minute of the match. Johan Ström took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aleksander Anselius. Chrillex FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tord Hellsing charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tord Hellsing the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. GGG's Tord Hellsing got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Tord Hellsing off the ground. After 75 played minutes GGG got a freekick which was hit by Tord Hellsing. In the 76th minute of the match Thor Högberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erland Bergqvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Chrillex FC's Ivar Engström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. After 85 played minutes Chrillex FC got a freekick which was hit by Helge Bern. In the 89th minute, Benjamin Tingberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erland Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivar Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chrillex FC played a much better game than GGG and deserved their victory. The GGG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
