Ivar Rönn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Nils Fredriksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Rönn. Torremölla Twins FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nils Fredriksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Magnus Tinglöv was the one to do the kick off. Ivar Rönn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Qvarnström in the 54th minute of the match. When Sverker Larsson came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Nerd FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sverker Larsson couldn't finish the play. Torremölla Twins FC's Georg Ivarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Georg Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfred Axelsson having to interfere. The supporters of Torremölla Twins FC booed when Nerd FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Erserman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nerd FC's Lucas Berg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ivar Rönn but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Nils Fredriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivar Rönn was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Manfred Axelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
